Employment is the Number One Reason for Health Care Job Demand

There are more Americans employed in health care than any other industry.  Employment is the number one reason for the health care job demand currently.  In the United States, there is a rising demand from health care employers to hire graduates.   According to the Bureau of Labor Statistics, the health care sector has outperformed the retail sector in job creation.  It continues to boom with over 30,000 jobs created per month.  I know what you may be thinking though.  What kind of jobs are available in the health care industry?

It’s a wide spectrum of jobs including office administration, marketing, and medical field work.  Among the top highest performing jobs, it includes Certified Home Health Aide, Electrocardiogram Technician, Phlebotomy Technician, Medical Billing & Coding, and Certified Nurse Aide.  These classes are where employers are literally jumping at the opportunity to acquire new employees.

For instance, many hospital jobs went to Medical Assistants who were fluent in EKG cardiogram readings and blood draws for Phlebotomy.  In addition, it is without a doubt that employers are stating that there will be a 20 percent to 30 percent increase in employment opportunities within the next ten years.  This is an absolute incredible feat as most job sectors decrease throughout their time.  This industry is a recession free industry.
