Lesson 2: Character Personas

A character persona is a fictional character.  These characters are created upon your research and represent different user types that might use a service or a product.  Marketers utilize this character creating tool as a way of understanding their customers and how to better improve their product that will assist the customer in being more likely to purchase their product.

  • Character personas aren’t real people. 
  • However, they create a sample of what a customer at a store may be like. 
  • Creating a persona will help you understand a customer’s needs, experiences, behaviors, and goals.
