E&S Academy is approved as a national institution for providing the National Healthcareer Association exam.  Our standards follow NHA regulations. The NHA certification exam is for any and all students who have successfully completed the Medical Billing and Coding (CBCS), EKG Technician (CET), and Phlebotomy Technician (CPT.) These are the most common questions we receive from our students. According to the NHA website, they have awarded over 750,000 health care certifications.

How many questions are on the National Exam?

The National Healthcareer Association is the issuing organization for the National exam.  A total of 100 to 250 questions are on the exam. Exams may be taken via a computer or paper.  Normally, testing dates are on Fridays from 2:30 pm to 5:00 pm. Students are given the allotted time to finish their exam questions.

What is the exam cost?

The fee for registration to take the NHA exam with our school is $205 which must be paid in full ten days prior to the examination date.  The benefit of registering with our school is that we have valued partners ready to employ our students once they graduate from our facility.  Additionally, we offer a safe, clean, and up-to-date testing facility.

What are the benefits of attaining an NHA License?

This is a nationally trusted and valued credential in the industry.  Those who attain their NHA license will be more employable in the market due to the meaningful knowledge they attain.  The NHA is more than exam. It is to make what you accomplished a standard. Employing certified health care workers, employers benefit from a workforce of standardized knowledge, expedited workflow, and improved patient safety.  In other words, employers can trust that their certified employees can perform the administrative and clinical tasks aligned with their credentials.
