A certified Medical Office administrator must undergo a certification program of at least 50-hours to ensure that they have the necessary capabilities of working in medical offices and utilizing commonly used medical office programs.

Additionally, there is a need for professionals in places such as hospitals, private medical offices, insurances companies, laboratories, home care agencies, and additional clerical locations. It is recommended to have a medical office certification because it is related to what most medical offices need.  

WHAT DO MEDICAL OFFICE ADMINISTRATORS DO?

They have more knowledge and are capable of handling tasks than a secretary can. According to the U.S Bureau of Labor Statistics, a degree isn’t required. However, the certification is a credential modern medical office are searching for.  

For instance, the day-by-day duties that medical office administrators include answering phone calls, schedule appointments, and medical records. In addition to scheduling appointments, they process insurance forms, prepare reports, and assist physicians with various presentations.

Easy to Register and Start. Convenient.

It's a step in the right direction

I've known E&S Academy for quite sometime. I took the in-class chha in 2014 and love their classes. I was excited when they said they'd be offering online classes. I just finished the Medical Office. It could use some more videos. Overall, I learned a lot and think they're only going to get better. I'd recommend!
